Our favorite Swedish retailers have a gorgeous new collection – and the best bit? It’s all about strong women.
We thought it was great when H&M made Caitlyn Jenner the face of their Sports campaign this summer, and they’re back celebrating diversity again, featuring plus sized model (and our total girl crush) Ashley Graham as the star of their AW16 campaign.
The new collection, which debuted on the Paris runway back in February, is all about strength and individuality of women, which is something we can definitely get on board with. We’re so excited to for the line to hit the stores (and online) on 8th September that we’ve already got it pencilled it in our diaries, synched to our Outlook calendar... you get the picture.
The styles are tailored with strong silhouettes, and H&M are back to their Scandi roots with folklore inspired prints and embellishments that we’re all over – think Swedish lynx prints on jackets and boho embroidery. The collections’ coats play with shape, from warm and woollen with rounded short sleeves to oversized utility styles that wrap the body up – there’s something for every day.
Filled with black, red, white, blue, and loads of neutrals and pinstripes – we’re already picturing ourselves rocking up to Christmas dos in long sheer dresses, high cut trousers and lace everything.
Think romance, glamour, realness and softness through gaucho hates, cowboy boots and cube bags. Before the collection drops next month, compile your wishlist by casting your eyes over our top picks...
