Calling all Gucci fans! We have some news that is likely to drain your bank account. The Italian fashion house has announced that they are launching their first home collection, Gucci Décor.
If you're as obsessed as us with Alessandro Michele's eclectic aesthetic, we can guarantee you'll soon have a shopping list longer than your arm. Gucci devotees will spot many references to the clothing collections with similar fabrics, colourways and motifs used throughout.
The colourful collection includes printed cushions complete with tassles and fringing, Instagrammable scented candles, kitsch, floral mugs, animal motif trays and a selection of Gucci-esque furniture - think velvet upholstered chairs, a fold-up drinks table, and a very chic silk screen.
'Gucci is pleased to announce the launch of Gucci Décor, an eclectic collection of items with which customers can dress their own spaces. The idea is not to prescribe a particular decorative look, but to provide elements that allow for living spaces to be customized,' the press release read.
To celebrate the brand's first foray into the world of interiors they commissioned a series of illustrations by artist Alex Merry, which were shared via Instagram.
Launching this September, unsurprisingly, this range doesn't come cheap. Prices start around the £145 mark for candles and incense trays, whereas the luxe silk screens will set you back a whopping £23,000 pounds.
Better get saving, eh?
