I haven't felt excited about what anyone's wearing at a festival since Sienna Miller wore a mini dress with UGG boots to Glastonbury. The added boho belt slung across her hips made it peak 2004, and I haven't really cared since. This is largely due to the fact that every festival in the world became a questionable ocean of denim hot pants, floral hair pieces and anything tasseled. Coachella has been, without doubt, the worst offender, which is why I was both surprised and delighted when I saw Gigi Hadid at the festival over the weekend.
In fact, Gigi wasn't the only one to ditch the regular Coachella uniform. Her pals, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski all opted for much cooler pieces from the same brand: Ganni. Beloved by the fashion crowd thanks to its excellent design prowess coupled with mid-market prices, it was interesting to see that some of Instagram's most high-profile 'influencers' all flocked to the Danish label for their festival staples.
Gigi wore a £400 tie-dye waistcoat, which is almost sold out completely. She coupled it with a white crop top and high-waisted combat trousers, which made a refreshing change from aforementioned hot pants.
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner chose a£430 denim shirtwith matching£330 jeans, Em Rata chose a£230 leopard print blouseand Kendall was seen striding around in the brand's veryInsta-friendly cowboy boots.
