Over the past few seasons, Copenhagen Fashion Week has become one of the most talked about events on the global fashion calendar, thanks in large part to our newfound love of Scandi style, as well as their enviable roster of influencer-loved brands, including Cecile Copenhagen, Baum und Pferdgarten and of course, Ganni.
This season, Ganni is making the most of the increased footfall of the fashion set during fashion week by opening a new conceptual pop-up shop. Dubbed 'The Fruit Shop', the space will sell limited edition fruit-printed t-shirts (the banana is our fave), fruit gadgets and accessories, as well as an exclusive collection of cereamics created by US-based artist Jessica Hans - meaning for the first time you can dress your home in your favourite brand, too.
'We wanted to create something different than we have ever done before, and we came up with this universe of fruits and colours,' explains Ditte Reffstrup, Ganni's creative director. 'A fun little place displaying limited edition items, where you can drop by and experience Ganni in a new way. And we’ve actually got quite a taste for it. It’s highly liberating to let go of all your predetermined understandings of how to run a shop, and just do something crazy.'
Lucy Williams of Fashion Me Now has already been spotted in one of the designs, with more influencers surely set to follow.
