Stop what you’re doing. The Céline Fall 16 collection has landed and will be available to shop from the end of the month, giving you ample time to collate the ultimate lust-list.
The line is everything we would expect from Céline with staple layered tailoring and boxy blazers aplenty. The collection has a retro aesthetic with reference to 70’s silhouettes- think sandy oversized trenches, ruffled wrap skirts and sunflower thigh high boots. What more could we want?
Céline’s minimalist disciples should forget their much beloved monochrome as the Fall 16 line instead features earthy shades of emerald, citrus and magenta. A connoisseur in luxe fabrics, Céline presents this 70’s inspired palette in the form of high-waisted velvet trousers and dreamy soft crepe layers.
Yet Céline is nothing without accessories. The croissant bag is a newbie for Fall 16 whilst it's good to see old favourites Cabas and Trotteur make a comeback. Céline reworks the much loved ballerinas and pull-ons for the new line, perfect for the androgynous aesthetic.
With stacked jewellery a major trend for SS16, this is also the perfect opportunity to shop pendants and hoops. The collection also features large stone encrusted sleeves, great paired with stacked rings.
The Fall 16 collection lands in stores later this month, so secure your favourites and save your pennies for the most anticipated launch of the year. Get a glimpse of the dreamy campaign in our gallery below:
