We didn’t know that Emily Ratajkowski was so stylish and we’re sorry about that. But then again our first two introductions to her were, erm, fairly short on the clothing front. From that blurred line video with those assets to the Gone Girl role with those assets, it was easy enough to overlook the sartorial potential that this actress and model could so frequently offer up. And then we learnt recently that Emily was born in the UK – which only adds to one’s personal style kudos, non?

Fortunately for fashion fans she’s had plenty of opportunities recently to flex her outfitting muscles: she’s been scoring covershoots, filming alongside the likes of Zac Efron, attending premieres and starring in top campaigns.

We chart some of Emily's best looks, and why we just love her style.

1. She gives great holiday wardrobe

Emily knows a pretty floral dress when she sees one. She wore this one to Cannes Film Festival, 2017, in between red carpet appearances.

2. And therefore has an epic selection of swimwear

Whether cut-out onesie or mix'n'match separates, Emily's offering classic but cool swim gear

3. There’s also an excellent selection of denim going on - this romper being our personal fave

4. She doesn’t scrimp on the red carpet sass factor

5. Her no-makeup makeup game is particularly strong

Celebrities without makeup are usually as stunning as we'd expect, and Emily is no exception.

6. She rocks an updo like no other

Emily has become more adventurous with her dark brown locks and has experimented with some unconventional updo hairstyles.

At Cannes Film Festival she stepped out onto the red carpet with her hair pulled loosely into a low ponytail, with her front tresses of her were left to hang, slightly touseled. Showing she can work an array of different styles, she used one Cannes red carpet appearance to channel Audrey Hepburn: her her twisted into a glamorous bun and her bangs trimmed short.
