Since her breakout role in 2004 epic Troy we've been fixated by Diane Kruger’s envelope-pushing and elegant fashion statements - whether she's rocking a risqué look at her latest film premiere or nailing a double denim ensemble while out and about in LA.

But when it comes to the German model-turned-actress's personal style, Diane opts instead for an eclectic wardrobe approach rather than full-on California girl vibes a la Laguna Beach.
‘I’m probably more European in my thinking because of where I grew up: the 'less is more' philosophy,’ Diane admitted to The New York Times, regarding her simple beauty regime. Just check out her Instagram – packed full of (flawless) make-up free selfies if you don’t believe us.
And the same can be said for her effortlessly cool sartorial choices. We're still crushing hard over her bohemian days at Cannes Film Festival in 2005 just as much as we're still obsessed with that sheer Chanel two piece she wore to last year's Met Gala, with her former partner of 10-years Joshua Jackson.
