When Madonna's your mum, there's never going to be anything twee about a mummy-and-me fashion moment. Just look at her son, David Banda, who pulled off a brilliant homage to the queen of pop over the weekend. As the pair arrived arm-in-arm to watch the WBA World Lightweight Championship, Banda appeared wearing a tomato red, tri-striped dress from the (soon-to-be) cult collaboration, Adidas x Gucci.

Exactly the same style already spotted on Jodie Turner-Smith, it looked equally fabulous on Banda, who accessorised with tinted blue shades and pendant necklaces by Vivienne Westwood. What you might not have noticed on first glance, however, is that he's wearing a dress which was inspired by something straight out of his mum's wardrobe.
At the premiere of Sleepless in Seattle (circa 1993), Madonna side-stepped a frou-frou frock for a sporty dress by Adidas (same red hue, same V-neck).

Cool, huh? And the best part is that Madonna being Madonna, she obviously wasn't to be entirely upstaged - and decided to wear a tracksuit from the other hit collaboration of the moment, Balenciaga / Adidas.
