'As women we can wear the colours we love, with the cuts we want and still be successful. On Selling Sunset we show that you can do both.'

Chrishell Stause wants you to feel confident. 'With this collection you can be a boss lady, and not break the bank at the same time - what's not to love?' she tells me over the phone from sunny LA. In London night time is upon us, but Chrishell's upbeat tone tells me her day is only just beginning.

Fans of Netflix's hit reality show Selling Sunset will know exactly who Chrishell is. She's either strutting through the streets of LA in six-inch heels or selling homes to Hollywood's A-listers; all whilst looking effortlessly glamorous. The Netflix show follows the highs and lows of the real estate agents from The Oppenheim Group. If you (like us) have obsessed over their wardrobes from their very first brunch on Sunset Boulevard - Chrishell x Lipsy is here to give you a taste of that LA glamour.

'As a real estate agent I'm always on the move and I have long days, so I need transitional outfits,' Chrishell explains. Her seamless office-to-night attire was the driving force behind her first collection with Lipsy, 'I love outfits I can slip on, go to the office in and then transition into happy hour with.' From new twists on essential LBDs to brightly coloured jumpsuits and structured blazers; this collection is a day-to-night fantasy.

The collection also stems from Chrishell's personal style; figure-hugging and colourful. She admits, 'I'm such a sucker for polka dots and pink and we have couple of pieces in there. I also always want my clothes to hug these curves as well.'

As a working woman, dressing for the world of business still has its challenges. Society can be extra critical of our choices - whether they disagree with the length of our skirts to the cut of our dresses. However, Chrishell reminds us that businesswear can be professional but also stylish. 'That old idea that everything has to be over-the-top conference room attire is antiquated and now we can have fun with it.' She continues, ' As women we can wear the colours we love with the cuts and styles we want and still be successful. On Selling Sunset we definitely show that you can do both.'

However, Chrishell details that her style evolution didn't transform over night, it only came after she started dressing for herself. She reveals that when she first joined the Netflix show, she only bought outfits she thought a real estate agent would wear, rather than what she actually liked. But now she feels secure in her personal style and even looks to her Selling Sunset co-stars for tips. 'I actually think we all inspire each other's style because we're all just having fun with it, and don't take ourselves too seriously.'

How would she like women to feel wearing Chrishell x Lipsy? 'Confident - it changes so much.' She pauses, 'I know this because I've lived it. I haven't always been confident and we all go through times when we don't feel that way. We deal with a lot in the workplace and we deal with a lot in life.' Chrishell adds, 'If my collection makes you feel better by just wearing it - I've succeeded.'
