As soon as filming started for And Just Like That, fans were delighted to discover that the show's costume designers, Danny Santiago and Molly Rogers, were taking pains to incorporate familiar friends when it came to Carrie.
As well as choosing some choice vintage pieces for each character (Charlotte York Goldenblatt's 1996 Givenchy ruffled blouse is particularly genius), Carrie's favourite accessories have come back for a second showing.
Because even Carrie, the woman who spent $40,000 on shoes, understands the need to recycle her wardrobe. Fans went particularly wild for the 'Roger' belt - a studded waist-cincher from Streets Ahead - that made its debut in the first film. And then there's the blue satin Manolos, Carrie's wedding day shoes that play a poignant role in the first episode.
Which begs the question: where have these items been for the past decade or so? According to Rogers, they've been nestled in the archive of SJP, who has saved certain pieces over the decades that she's worked on SATC__. ‘It’s almost like some of the accessories or outfits are friends,’ Rogers told Grazia. Without further ado, here are all the accessories that you might have recognised so far in AJLT.

These Dior stacked sandals got not one but two showings in the first movie - and just made their debut in episode seven of AJLT.

The second time they appeared in the first movie, they gave a blooming rose print some much-needed bite.

It looks like Carrie has dug out this blue flower brooch which she first wore in episode two of season three (the one where she dates the politician). And not content with just one recycled accessory, she teamed it with the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps that she wears for her courthouse wedding to Mr. Big.

Mr. Big famously used Carrie's blue Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps as a second proposal in the first Sex and the City film.

Wearing a pink Carolina Herrera shirt dress, Carrie brought back the Streets Ahead studded belt from the first movie, in which she wore it several different times.

The new pictures from And Just Like That filming echo the fuchsia shift dress Carrie wore in the first film, also paired with the Streets Ahead belt.

She also wore it with this green floral 1950s dress in the first movie.

It looks as though Carrie's invested in a replacement for the Fendi Baguette that was stolen in season three. Here, she's wearing the purple sequin bag with a printed dress.

In season three episode 17, Carrie loses her way and ends up being robbed of her favourite designer accessories, including the purple sequin Fendi Baguette.

Her most famous accessory - her nameplate necklace - made its first appearance in the sixth episode of And Just Like That.

The Carrie necklace appeared in almost every series of the original show, if we're not mistaken, but this is a moment in season four.

After she stays over at her old apartment, Carrie pulls out a white tutu skirt and her vintage boots from Chanel.

In season six of SATC, Carrie wears a very similar skirt and the same booties for date night with Aleksandr Petrovsky.

Eagled-eyed fans noticed that this silky coat is actually the trench from Dolce & Gabbana, the very same one that Carrie 'I'm a writer' Bradshaw wore on the catwalk in season four.

She might have taken a tumble on the runway, but at least she got to keep the clothes - right?

The Gucci bum bag, worn around her upper body instead of her waist, is a rewear from the original series.

Here it is, strapped around her hips, in season four.
