In news we can't quite believe, George at Asdais stocking preloved Gucci from as little as £12. To celebrate Ridley Scott's latest film,House of Gucci, starring Adam Driver and Lady Gaga, you will literally be able to pick up a piece of fashion history in your local supermarket.
Coinciding with the launch of the hottest new fashion biopic hitting cinemas this week, Asda is challenging customers up and down the country to seek out a vintage treasure hidden in their local store, in association with vintage wholesaler PreLoved- George's sustainability partner.
As we all go Gaga for Gucci-mania this season (including the release of the hotly-anticipated Gucci x Balenciaga collaboration) - 30 exclusive vintage Gucci pieces will be hidden in Asda stores around the UK.
And if there is one tiny catch, it's that nobody knows where to find them.
Asda will be sharing teasers on social media encouraging customers to go on the hunt in their local stores for the chance to purchase a piece of designer history. This will include shirts, jackets and dresses from the iconic fashion house for as little as £12. Considering Gucci socks typically retail at a whopping £145, the hunt is on for the Gucci gems in-store. If we don't beat you to them first, that is.
This Friday, November 26, sees the UK release of House of Gucci but you can start early as the secret Gucci treasures will be dispersed throughout Asda stores from today.
