Award season is back in full swing; already a particular highlight is the recent SAG Awards, where celebrities made some serious statements with their red carpet attire. Tonight, it's the 75th British Academy Film Awards, otherwise known as the BAFTAs, having been a virtual affair back in 2021, the ceremony returns to an in-person, celebrity filled red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall.
While many attendees opted for head to toe black, highlights of turquoise blue and yellow to show solidarity with Ukraine appeared across the carpet. Ariana DeBose, Laura Whitmore and Wunmi Mosaku chose to wear floor length yellow gowns whilst Rachel Zegler opted for a turquoise silk Vivienne Westwood corset dress. Ribbons and badges in the colours of the Ukraine flag were also seen pinned on the lapels of suits.
Elsewhere, Daisy Ridley told reporters her black tulle gown was actually made from two pre-worn Vivienne Westwood dresses redesigned for the occasion while Bridgerton's Simone Ashley stole the show in fuchsia Valentino.
Kicking off the ceremony was host Rebel Wilson who did not disappoint, covering Gaga's House of Gucci accent and her own weight loss in minutes of her opening speech.
Being the first BAFTA ceremony to be held in person since the pandemic, the attendees came through with their red carpet moments. From Lady Gaga to Sienna Miller and more, see this year's best dressed stars at 2022's BAFTAs below...
