ASOS Bridal Launch 2016

Good news for ASOS addicts and brides-to-be, the online fashion retailer is set to launch its very first bridal collection. And the line is dress-me-in-white, race-you-down-the-aisle-gorgeous.

This is marvellous news for those in search of the prettiest high street wedding dresses.

With prices ranging from £65 for a pretty tulle skirt to £250 for a full, traditional ivory bridal gown, the line sits fully in the affordable bridal wear category – and with prices this low we expect a few brides will be tempted to pull an outfit change or two on their big day.

Hero pieces in the range include a strappy fishtail maxi (£95) and a floral 3D lace fishtail gown (£250).

The line also includes bridesmaid-worthy coloured dresses, plus bridal accessories including covetable clutches, pretty floral headpieces and fabulous footwear. Accessory prices start at £8, so there’s no need to be picky when it comes to adding a finishing touch (or eight) to your bridal look.

We love the idea of switching up a traditional wedding gown for a fun (and more dancefloor-friendly) evening look at your wedding, which is why we’ve got our eye firmly on ASOS’ bridal jumpsuit with cape overlay (£150). There will be no need to compromise on dance moves or bridal style in this piece.

ASOS join a number of other high street brands to dip their toe in the bridal market, with department stores like John Lewis and Debenhams offering a host of affordable options, while Free People, Ghost and Coast all offer seriously pretty wedding dress options, too.

The real bonus of ASOS’ bridal launch though? (Aside from their one-day delivery deal on ASOS Premiere that makes 8pm shopping seem totally sensible.) Getting to see your dress on your favourite ASOS model. We’re not the only people that make entire wardrobe decisions based on what the stylists at ASOS HQ have decided to dress our favourite girl in, are we?

ASOS’ Bridal line launches 7 March 2015, with further styles being added throughout the month. Shop the collection here.
