At The Brits, Adele Stole The Show In Three Incredible (And Very Different) Looks

Back on her home soil, Adele brought the Old Hollywood style of glamour we've come to expect from her to the Brit Awards 2022. Only, she didn't choose just one incredible look for proceedings. Instead, it seems three was her lucky number of the night – not only did she win three awards, she also had three amazing outfit changes.

In recent months Adele has pulled off some incredible haute couture looks, including the custom Schiaparelli dress she wore to a wedding last year. Arriving on the Brit Awards red carpet, Adele opted for another couture gown, this time custom-made Armani Privé.

Made of black silk velvet, with a tulle neckline, Adele undoubtedly stole the show when she arrived on the red carpet, where she also took photographs with fans and signed autographs.

For her second look, Adele changed into a sparkling lime green Valentino Couture gown, made for her by the house's creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Crafted from chiffon with sequin embroidery, the off-shoulder dress, with its voluminous sleeves, was a world away from the figure-hugging, mostly black outfits we've seen Adele wearing of late.

Speaking toVogue__, Piccioli explained that Jamie Mizrahi, Adele's stylist, called the designer back in the summer to request the look. 'No sooner had Adele called, [and] we were working on her dress,' he said. 'Such enthusiasm made possible what, in the beginning, seemed just crazy.'

As for the colour, Piccioli said it was a no-brainer. 'Green is her colour. Not only is it perfect with her features, but it has a strength and a positive vibe that impeccably celebrates her voice. Nothing could make her energy irradiate more than those sequins, then, even from a screen.'

To collect her awards, Adele changed into her third and final look: a black, off-shoulder mini jacket-dress with buff-sleeves from Marianna Senchina, a brand founded in 2015 by sisters Marianna and Natalia. Designed in Milan and made in Ukraine, the dress is available to buy online and is, remarkably, still in stock in all sizes.

Rumours are swirling about Adele's current relationship status after she wore an enormous diamond on the red carpet, whichlooked suspiciously like an engagement ring. But if you can't accessorise your custom-made haute couture gown with knockout jewellery, what can you do?
