Vinted (much like eBay and Depop) really took the phrase 'one man's trash is another man's treasure' and ran with it, making resale platforms a core part of our shopping routines. On there, you'll find everything from archive Prada bags to last season Zara scarves, and now, as surprising as it may sound, pieces from Paul Mescal's wardrobe. Yes, really.
Unlike us, however, the Normal People star isn't selling on Vinted as a side hustle. Instead, all proceeds will be donated to Irish charity Pieta, supporting people affected by suicide and self-harm. And some very special pieces have been included in the drop, which launches on Monday 16th December.
Handpicked by Mescal's stylist, Felicity Kay, are items the actor wore on the recent Gladiator II promo tour. This includes Jimmy Choo black boots (Paul's a size 10, FYI), ELV denim jeans, an Extreme Cashmere crew neck jumper, a Hades wool cardigan and more.
Speaking of the Vinted sale, Kay says, 'Paul has always had a strong connection to vintage and pre-loved fashion. He’s often eager to re-wear pieces we’ve styled before or items from his own wardrobe.' And who doesn't love a vintage-hunting King?
'We were equally both excited about finding a way to give the clothes he wore during his tour a second life, so selling them on Vinted felt like the perfect fit, especially with the added bonus of supporting a good cause,' she added. So, if shopping for items worn by one of the biggest heart-throbs also helps a good cause, you can certainly sign us up.
We're expecting these Paul Mescal pieces to sell out rather rapidly, so to give you a fighting chance, below are a handful of our favourite finds. Although, getting your hands on them may be harder than winning a Gladiator battle. Good luck!

'Paul has an amazing cap collection, and this 'Actor' cap from ERL is definitely a standout. It's irreverent and a bit tongue-in-cheek, which we both love. We’re both huge fans of Eli Russell Linnetz’s approach – his casual styling with playful references works perfectly in Paul’s wardrobe,' says Kay.

'The Jimmy Choo Elias boot is a beautifully polished leather, with a square toe that Paul has worn often before and wore throughout this tour – most recently for his opening monologue of Saturday Night Live. They’re a real favourite in our studio,' says Kay.

'This is custom-made from an old knitting pattern I came across and really wanted to incorporate into Paul's tour wardrobe. When thinking about who could make this piece, I remembered Herd, who are a sustainable knitwear brand using wool that is sourced entirely within a 150-mile radius of the farms in Yorkshire, North West England, where the knits are produced. They have incredibly limited runs, so every piece is very special,' says Kay.

'ELV Denim is a sustainable brand known for creating custom, made-to-order jeans from repurposed and deadstock materials. We selected the denim for our custom pair, which was crafted by stitching two light-wash jeans together to recreate a shape we loved. Their focus on eco-conscious production and unique designs makes each piece special,' says Kay.

'Extreme Cashmere was a new discovery on this tour, but they quickly became a go-to. Their pieces – perfectly knitted T-shirts, cropped sweaters, and scarves – have a heavy, luxurious cashmere gauge that feels incredible. The subtle, design-led details set them apart, making each item feel both special and versatile. They’ve truly become the foundation of many looks throughout this tour. This striped knit was worn by Paul for his SNL shoot on the streets of New York,' says Kay.
