The Barbie promo tour has officially started and let's just say its preternaturally buff leads - Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling - have lent into the theme: big time. Arriving on yesterday's step-and-repeat for CinemaCon, both looked like they had walked off the set wearing their characters' costumes.
For her, classic Barbiecore: a peppy gingham co-ord from Prada, which she accessorised with patent pink mules and an ankle bracelet by Chanel. For him, Barbie merch (in the form of a tee with bubble writing spelling out 'Greta Gerwig'), a popped-collar bomber jacket by Acne Studios, bottled tan and blonde tips. Clearly, Ryan is not one to be outshined in the fashion stakes by his co-star, even if said co-star is Margot Robbie. It looks we're in for a very pink promo if the on-brand nature of its inaugural outfits are anything to go by. Bring it on.

For their first appearance on the publicity tour at CinemaCon, they each chose an outfit that would definitely get the seal of approval from their on-screen alter-egos.
