Victoria Beckham's style has gone through many phases, but each belongs in the fashion hall of fame. As one fifth of the biggest girl band in pop history, VB epitomised the sleek and minimal mood of the '90s, side-stepping her bandmates' platform trainers and tracksuits for sleek little black dresses (she wasn't afraid to poke fun at herself. In the Spice World film Mel C says: 'It must be really hard for you Victoria, you know, trying to decide whether to wear the little Gucci dress, the little Gucci dress, or the little Gucci dress' 'Exactly!' says Posh). Look closely and you'll notice that many trends among Gen Z - chokers, bralettes, corsets etc - were practically trademarked by Posh Spice.

In the early '00s, VB's wardrobe went full-throttle, from that corset gown at 2003's MTV Awards - which matched her husband's white-hot suit and bleached hair - to her modern-day take on Jackie O. After she founded her own fashion label - one of the hottest tickets at New York Fashion Week, and then London - she cemented herself as not just a style plate but a serious taste-masker, dressing everyone from red carpet royalty (Lady Gaga) to actual royalty (Meghan Markle). Keep scrolling to see her style evolution.
