Ever wondered what it's like being a star getting ready for the Oscars?
There are so many questions I have: who does your zipper up? What if it gets caught? What if you spill something on your gown or tuxedo blazer in the car? Do make-up artists pre-plan for the inevitable mascara-destroying floods of tears when a winner cradles their golden award?
Ok, so we might have to resign ourselves to the fact that we will never know about some of these things. But at least Louis Vuitton have given a sneak peak into what it's like to be Emma Stone getting ready for the legendary awards ceremony. The short film entitled 'Getting Ready With Emma Stone' shows the actress's last few moments of preparation before she attended this years Oscars. If you're obsessed with awards ceremony fashion, this is definitely the one for you...
The video begins with shots of The Favourite actor's exquisite sequin, pearl and bead-embroidered dress being made in Paris; although it's been cut down significantly, because the entire thing reportedly took 734 hours to make.
We then see Emma having her coppery smoky eye make-up touched up outdoors in blissful sunny weather, (try not to focus on the blissful sunny weather bit here - just as a warning I can confirm that it will make you jealous and give you holiday FOMO).
A few more shots show Emma Stone showcasing the creation (which to be honest I would also want to see if I had been one of the people who had spent 734 hours making it) and sharing jokes with members of her styling team before leaving her hotel stepping into the car that couriers her to the ceremony.
But before we move onto that bit: make sure to catch the girl in the background as Emma exits her hotel suite who was clearly utterly overcome with emotion, because it's the sweetest moment.
The next shot shows Emma getting into her car and then cuts to her on the red carpet, showing the entire journey of the dress from start to finish. What are you waiting for? You can see the whole video here now.
