So, how long have these two actually been together? For those who need a reminder, the pair were actually romantically linked way back in 2019, but you could be forgiven for not knowing that, as they've been pretty private since.

Well, the stars met at work - as they both starred in the West End production of Betrayal, which naturally sent the romance rumours into overdrive. The pair costarred in the revival of Harold Pinter's play where they played married couple Robert and Emma, which is supposedly where their own love story began.
A month later, Tom was spotted looking 'in good spirits' at the launch of Zawe's book, Character Breakdown, which is a memoir/ fiction hybrid based on her life in performance. Then in August, after its success in London, Betrayal was taken to Broadway which meant the pair were acting alongside each other once more. How convenient!
Since 2019, they've been spotted at various showbiz events together, including the US Open and Wimbledon (of course), as well as on holiday in Ibiza, and by September 2021 they were ready to make their red carpet debut as a couple at the Tony Awards.
Their relationship wasn't picked up by the showbiz world for a while – with a source even telling The Sunthat Tom has been more private about his love life since his famous relationship with Taylor Swift.
In September 2019, an insider told the paper: 'Tom really has fallen for Zawe in a big way. They’ve actually been together for more than six months. But he is so paranoid about his private life since his relationship with Taylor that he has gone to great lengths to keep this under wraps.' They even added that Tom thinks Zawe could be the 'love of his life' - cute.

As far as we know, Tom and Zawe have been engaged since March 2022, but are not yet married. Zawe was first spotted wearing a (very impressive) ring at the BAFTAs in March 2022, with Tom later confirming that they got engaged earlier that month.
In an interview in the LA Times in June 2022, he said, 'I'm very happy,' and revealed that he had proposed to his partner a few months earlier. Yes, the happy couple welcomed their first baby together in June 2022. At the time, a source told Us Weekly, 'Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy. They have been having the struggles of new parents and aren't sleeping much but are thrilled.'

Since the couple went public and made their first red carpet appearance at the Tony Awards, they tend to only get spotted on awards show red carpets or in the audience at major tennis tournaments. He then admitted, 'My other half is in The Marvels and I’m very proud of her. So there you go. That’s out this weekend.'
