Kim Kardashian's Met Gala dress could have been embellished with fake nipples - if it wasn't for her husband Kanye West. West recently came under fire for telling Kardashian that she was dressing ‘too sexy’ in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians - and now the reality star has revealed that, actually, the dress was altered to remove the nipples.
During a recent appearance on The Real, she explained, 'The dress, initially, since I was wet coming out of the water, had nipples attached to it. I’m not sure if we actually put that part into that fight [on the show]. So, he was really certain that he didn’t want that on the dress and had mentioned it multiple times.'
In the episode which sparked controversy, the rapper asked Kim who she was looking ‘hot’ for in the Thierry Mugler dress.
Explaining that he no longer feels the need to have a trophy wife on his arm (he’s evolved guys), he told Kim the night before her Met Gala appearance, ‘I went through this transition where being a rapper, looking at all these girls and looking at my wife, like, “Oh my girl needs to be just like the other girls showing their body off”’
‘I didn’t realize that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone who is married and the father of …about to be four kids,’ he continued. ‘A corset is a form of underwear, it’s hot, hot for who though?’
‘You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy,’ he concluded.
Quickly shutting him down, Kardashian called his comments ‘ridiculous’ and told him ‘you built me up to be this sexy person with confidence and all this, and just because you’re on a journey and transformation doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you.’
