Lady Gaga will be heading to Paris later this month to perform at this year's Victoria's Secret show, the lingerie brand has confirmed.
The 2016 show will mark the first time that Gaga, who has just released her fifth studio album Joanne, has performed alongside the Victoria's Secret Angels. The singer will be joined at the annual extravaganza by The Weeknd and Bruno Mars, both of whom are Victoria's Secret veterans: Mars performed at the 2012 event, while The Weeknd made an appearance at last year's show.
This high profile gig is the perfect way to round off a stellar year for Gaga, who kicked things off in January with a Golden Globe win for her role in American Horror Story. She followed this up with a performance of the National Anthem at the Superbowl and an emotional rendition of ''Til It Happens To You' at the Academy Awards, later announcing that she would take the lead role in the remake of A Star Is Born.
While Victoria's Secret is yet to announce the full model line-up for the Paris spectacular (which marks the first time that the show has been held in the City of Light), we already know that we can expect a mix of new and familiar faces.
While new mums Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo will be taking a break this time, Angels like Taylor Hill, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt will of course be returning. They'll be joined by Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, as well as Karlie Kloss, who is making a comeback after having 'retired' her angel wings in 2015, preferring to focus on her studies. This year, the infamous $3 million 'Fantasy Bra' will be worn by Jasmin Tookes.
Amongst the models making their Victoria's Secret debut are Bella Hadid (will she join her boyfriend The Weeknd on-stage?), Irina Shayk and Lameka Fox.
