This Creepy Advert Shows What It Would Be Like To Be Tom Hiddleston’s Girlfriend

Have you ever imagined a movie star making you breakfast? Well, now you don’t have to, thanks to Tom Hiddleston, who is now starring in the world’s creepiest advert, shot from your perspective! But what is he advertising? Women’s vitamins Centrum, because Tom Hiddleston is sexy and thoughtful. The people of China have been lucky enough to view this on their network Weibo. But, because of the Internet, now you can watch it too! It is officially the closest you will feel to being his ex-girlfriend, the chart-smashing Taylor Swift.

“Morning,” Tom says, looking to the camera. “I finished early so I thought I’d pop back and make you breakfast.” Which would be delightful, if that breakfast didn’t happen to be a plate of raw vegetables with a rubbery-looking egg perched on top, which he inexplicably puts pepper on. Tom then offers you a vitamin, because he is sexy and thoughtful. “I’ll probably be a bit busy for the next few weeks,” he tells you as he gets ready to leave, “But I’ll make it up to you soon, I promise.” And then, it’s time for the weirdest part of all… Your hands go up to straighten his collar (it is truly, truly disorientating.) But, before you have time to digest how bloody weird it is, Tom - who it has now been established is definitely your boyfriend - is out the door, lingering a little too long with his goodbye, looking you in the eyes almost as if you will never see him again.

Really, the one question this raises - other than wtf, and is this better/worse than that Rami Malek hotel advert - is just how low is the blockbuster movie star’s bank account looking? Tom, we do not need to tell you that you are infinitely better than this. Then again, he is the man who famously wore an ‘I heart Taylor’ top - is it that much of a surprise?
