While everyone’s been obsessing over how Madonna looks these days, we all forgot to keep an eye on her eldest son, Rocco Ritchie. The 22-year-old sent the internet into a tailspin when he joined an array of A-listers at Paris Fashion Week, hitting up the Yves Saint Laurent Womenswear catwalk. But it was Rocco’s fashion choices that stole the show, as he arrived looking like he’d just stepped out one of his dad, Guy Ritchie’s gangster movies…

Rocco – who works as an artist under the name Rhed – wore a long black PVC trench coat by YSL’s artistic creative image director, Anthony Vaccarello. He teamed it with vintage aviator glasses – orange tinted lenses, obvs – and a white popped collar. He also sported brand new facial hair; a moustache and 70s sideburns. Many fans loved the look. One comment read, 'Cool style,' while another added, 'Tom Ford vibes.' Others agreed he’d been inspired by his film director father, with one tweet pointing out, 'Rocco Ritchie if the Elton John movie was directed by his dad.'

The previously clean-shaven celebrity offspring has been working as an expressionist painter in recent years, after studying at Central Saint Martins and the Royal Drawing School in London from the age of 16. After featuring his work in several exhibitions, last year he and two friends set up their own gallery, the Maison Rhed. His work – which goes for around five figures – even bagged him a photoshoot in Vogue Hong Kong last September.

In the accompanying interview Rocco mentioned his love of fashion, saying, 'I think clothing can be a projection of the artist and what they’re inspired by… Salvador Dali was a fabulous painter and distinctively well-dressed.' He also credited his mum, Madonna, 64 – who is currently planning for her upcoming The Celebration Tour – saying, 'It certainly helped growing up in a house that was passionate about art and culture. Neither of my parents are painters, but both are artists in their own right and they taught me to appreciate and respect it.'
