Taylor Swift just dropped her latest anthem, You Need To Calm Down, and for the first time her career the singer has decided to get political. The single, a light-hearted protest against homophobia, sexism and bullying, features an all-star cast of guest stars, from LGBT+ icons to world-renowned singers.
The song introduces Taylor to a new wave of activism (hopefully), with a calling card at the end for people watching to demand the Equality Act (in the US) gets Senate support. Calling on viewers to sign her petition on Change.org (although there's no link to follow in the YouTube bio), the single is an attempt to change the increasingly prejudiced environment in the US.
Hoping to get everyone talking about the video, Taylor enlisted the help of an all-star cast, which we have provided a handy guide to just incase you missed anyone. From the Queer Eye cast to the legendary Billy Porter, he's everyone that appeared in the You Need To Calm Down video...
Taylor Swift You Need To Calm Down Video - Grazia (stacked)
Dexter Mayfield
Dancer, actor and model, Dexter can be spotted dancing in possibly the best co-ord of all time.
Billy Porter
One of our absolute favourite people at the moment, Billy Porter is seen coming in between protestors and Taylor's friends, dressed to the nines and looking unreal as always.
Ciara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson & Justin Mikita
Real-life husbands, Jesse and Justin are seen reliving their wedding but this time with the ultimate officiant, Ciara.
The Drag Race cast
In this one video alone we were treated to Trinity the Tuck, Delta Work, Akeria Davenport, Adore Delano, Tatianna, Jade Jolie Jessie and Trinity K Bonet. They all appear as celebrity drag impersonators in the video, competing in a line-up that they eventually all win.
Katy Perry
The feud that launched a thousand ships has been called off, for the gazillionth time. Katy and Taylor can be seen hugging amongst chaos dressed as a burger and fries, proving they have truly had the last laugh in all the publicity this has generated for them.
Hannah Hart
American comedian, author and actor, Hannah is seen dancing alongside Dexter.
Todrick Hall
The American Idol contestant has since shot to fame as a singer songwriter, actor and director (as well as a whole host of other hyphenates). As resident choreographer on season 8 of RuPaul's Drag Race, he can be seen showing off his dance moves in the video.
RuPaul
Would this video be complete without an appearance from RuPaul? The iconic Drag Race host can be seen presenting a crown to a line-up of drag queens, eventually deciding to throw the crown away so they all win.
Hayley Kiyoko
Otherwise known as 'Lesbian Jesus', Hayley is a longtime friend of Taylor's, performing with her last year. The world-renowned singer can be seen showcasing her archery talents.
Adam Rippon
The champion figure skater appears as a snow cone man in the video, wearing the best outfit we've ever seen in our whole lives.
The Queer Eye cast
The best moment of our lives, Jonathon Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown and Antoni Porowski can be seen having a tea party with Taylor and Todrick Hall. We're obsessed with the moment Todrick feeds Jonathon.
Chester Lockhart
The singer, who has just signed on to CW's new drama Glamorous, was spotted fawning over Laverne Cox in the video.
Laverne Cox
The iconic Orange Is The New Black star makes waves in the video, with fellow guest star Chester Lockhart fainting just from looking at her.
Tan France
While we don't get to see the entire Queer Eye cast together, Tan makes a solo appearance at the beginning of the video. We'll have to wait for the next season of Queer Eye for that gem of a moment.
Ryan Reynolds
Apparently we have a new queer icon ladies and gents, because Ryan Reynolds makes an appearance at the very end of the video. He and his wife Blake Lively are known to be friends of Taylor's, although we're not quite sure where he fits into this anti-bullying, anti-sexism, anti-homophobia theme that's going on.
Adam Lambert and Ellen DeGeneres
The singer can be seen tattooing the legendary TV host with 'cruel summer', with fans theorizing Taylor has planted an easter egg (her token move in any single) for her upcoming album.
