If you're a Taylor Swift fan, and you have tickets to Glastonbury - then you're in luck, as it's finally been confirmed that the star is heading to Worthy Farm in June. Posing behind a copy of the Glastonbury Free Press, the singer posted a selfie that confirmed she is the festival's Sunday night headliner, writing: 'I’m ecstatic to tell you that I’ll be headlining Glastonbury on its 50th anniversary - See you there!'

Taylor will be joining Paul McCartney, who has also been confirmed for the festival. But Taylor is the first female headliner since Adele performed in 2016.

It has been widely rumoured that the singer was headlining - with some calling it the music industry's worst kept secret - after fans noticed a Glastonbury sized gap in her Lover tour dates.

Bookmakers also recently slashed odds to 3/10 for Taylor playing, followed by Kendrick Lamar also headlining at 4/11. Emily, who organises the line-up with her father Michael Eavis, told The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2: 'Interestingly, for the other two headliners it’s their first time at Glastonbury and we’ve got one male and one female – so there’s a couple of clues there. I’m sure people will guess, so don’t put them to me!'

The only other confirmed act for the festival is Diana Ross, who will be playing the famous Legends slot. Announcing the news, Diana wrote on Twitter, ‘This is a dream come true. To all the fans across the world, this is my tribute to you. I'm coming to Glastonbury, with love.’

The festival sold out in just 34 minutes when tickets went on sale in October. A resale for unwanted and unpaid tickets will take place on 16 April, 2020 for coach tickets and 19 April for general tickets.
