After news broke that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris had split up, the pair were keen to stress that the whole thing was totally amicable. Calvin composed a tweet telling of his 'love and respect' for his former girlfriend, Taylor re-tweeted the message, and there was even talk of cat visitation rights to ensure that the DJ kept up with Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson.
Until yesterday, that is, when things started to take a definite turn for the worse. Harris unfollowed Swift on his social media platforms, before tweeting that 'it's about to go down.' Ominous.
It seems that Harris had got wind of the news that Taylor had been photographed kissing Night Manager star Tom Hiddleston, in scenes straight out of a Taylor Swift music video, before The Sun broke the story.
Then, the pair scrambled to delete every single coupled-up Instagram post from their respective accounts, and the results aren't pretty.
Let's just take a moment to remember the Insta-moments that we have lost, and once again to ask the big questions. Won't somebody think of the inflatable swan?
