Another day, another Love Island fairytale comes to an end. After months of speculation that their romance was over, Andrew Le Page confirmed that he and fellow islander Tasha Ghouri have split.
Tasha and Andrew met on Love Island in 2022, where they made it all the way to the final, but were beaten by Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su. After leaving the show, Andrew and Tasha moved in with each other in London, and bought a house together last year, which they were renovating. They documented the renovations on their house - dubbed Tandrews home - on the Instagram page lepagerenovations which has amassed over 76k followers.
Taking to Instagram, Andrew broke his silence on rumours around their split, revealing that he's moving out of the couple's house and back to Guernsey in the Channel Islands, where he's from. Alongside a selfie, Andrew shared he had 'cried more this year' than in his entire life as he touched on his heartbreak, writing 'End of an era. So guys it's been a pretty c**p start to the year and one I didn't expect. However life goes on and I'm doing everything in my power to stay positive. All the support has meant the world.'
He also said his Instagram property renovations page is on hold for now, but he'll be looking for a new project soon, before promising his dog Luna, who he shares with Tasha, 'I'll get you a new garden to play in.' He concluded: 'Back to Guernsey now... I'll be back.'
Speculation started circulating that the pair have split last month, shortly after the couple bought their first home together. In January, Tasha was spotted on the celebrity dating app Raya, fuelling the rumours that she was no longer with Andrew.
Tasha has also seemed to hint at her sadness following the split. According to reports, Tasha liked a quote posted on Instagram by All On The Board, that read 'It's better to be single and on your own, rather than being with someone who makes you feel lonely and as if you're alone'.
On Saturday, she shared an update with fans on Snapchat while walking Luna about why she's decided to not share much about her current situation. 'Hi everyone. Just on a walk. I know a lot of you are asking me a lot of questions and want to know what has been going on. I won’t be speaking on the situation – it's a private side of my life which I’m still dealing with internally and mentally.'
She added: 'It's private for me and as much as I do want to share it with you all, one day I will, but I’m still processing everything that has happened and going on. I hope you can all understand on why I’ve not spoken out on the situation.'
