The lazy, hazy time between Christmas and New Year hasn’t been quite so quiet for Loose Woman and mum of four Stacey Solomon, who’s announced she’s expecting her fifth child.

The former I’m a Celeb Winner and Extra Camp host posted a video to her Instagram of her sharing the good news with husband Joe Swash, who can be heard saying, ‘This is the best news, bubba’.

Stacey wrote, ‘Me + Him = 👦🏻👦🏼👦🏼🧒🏼👧🏼👶 So grateful & cannot believe I’m saying this… Another little pickle is on the way… 😭 A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for. To the moon & back bub @realjoeswashy 🖤.’

In October the family celebrated youngest child Rose’s first birthday, after postponing their initial wedding date in 2021 after discovering Stacey was pregnant. Since then the couple havetied the knot after seven years together and, just yesterday, announced they’ll be welcoming a new ‘pickle’ – Stacey’s nickname for her kids – to their clan.

She wrote on stories, ‘I have soooo much to catch up with you all. I’m just trying to enjoy this crazy bit between Christmas and New Year where no one knows what day it is with all the pickles.

‘Honestly you’re all so bloody sweet and kind and I can’t wait to come on here and tell you EVERYTHING. I can’t believe we are having another baby! We are soooo excited. I’m scared for my noon. But so, so excited x’.

Speaking to Grazia in 2020 about finding her niche as a no-holds-barred mumfluencer on Instagram, Stacey said, ‘There was nothing else I could have put out,’ she says. ‘I wasn’t feeling the way some people feel after their baby. I just thought, what’s the point trying to hide it? I’m actually really glad I went with it. Even though now I look back and think, “I can’t believe I said that.” But it was a massive help for me, because there were so many people out there struggling with breastfeeding, struggling with the way they felt after giving birth. It just made me feel I wasn’t alone.’
