As always, on Celebs Go Dating, usually some of the celebrities take a shine to each other instead of the normal people they are supposed to date. During the most recent series, it was the turn of Made In Chelsea's Sophie Hermann and DJ Tom Zanetti to 'break the rules'. They shunned their other potential suitors, instead opting to spend the CGD finale with each other. It doesn't usually work out though. Just ask Demi Sims and Megan Barton Hanson.
But this series looked more optimistic, as Tom and Sophie even started to star on Made In Chelsea together, and the pair look very, very loved up.
But, off screen, reports emerged yesterday that the pair have sadly parted ways, with The Sun saying the pair have split due to distance, with Tom living in Leeds and Sophie living in London. This was hinted at when they unfollowed each other on Instagram, and then was confirmed during the season finale: Sophie told Fredrik Ferrier that she and Tom were officially over.

'I wouldn't call it a relationship anyway,' Sophie told us, when asked how living in the MIC houses impacted their relationship. 'We have never defined anything because we only had the time to see each other for a short amount of time. It was nice to see him again, and to actually be able to hang out. I was lucky because I have my own living quarters called the Hovel, and the others were obviously all sharing and yeah, that's not for me. It was nice, every morning we woke up with this beautiful view, so it was quite romantic. It was like a little getaway - that was sweet.'
Tom joined briefly earlier in the series, and he managed to settle in with the rest of the cast pretty well. Even though Sophie did tell us she had gave him 'a little bit of a makeover'. 'He's not allowed to wear jeans that are three times too small any more and cut off his blood circulation,' Sophie told us, speaking about what Tom has had to change moving in with the Chelsea cast. 'I don't want to change him, but I hate the tight jeans.'
It follows weeks of rumours that they had started a romance during the show, which was filmed in £30million mansion in Surrey (which is still on the market, btw{
Celebs Go Dating's Tom Read Wilson has also said he helped Tom win Sophie over, encouraging him to write her a poem. 'I feel a lot more responsible with that particular union. You know, I was always such a cheerleader for it,' he toldEntertainment Daily. 'I thought as long as Sophie discovers that wonderfully artistic complex side of Tom she’ll totally fall. And she did.'
Last month, Sophie revealed her beauty routine to Grazia - including her go-to £8.99 mascara.
