Selena Gomez has been hitting the headlines ever since she was spotted kissing Bella Hadid’s ex, The Weeknd.
But now it seems the singer is making the news in her own right after landing herself a surprising new job.
Selena has made her debut as an executive producer on a Netflix series entitled, Thirteen Reasons Why. The new show is based on Jay Asher’s 2007 novel of the same name. After reading the book, she worked alongside her mother Mandy Teefey and producer Kristel Laiblin in the creation of a screen adaptation.
The storyline follows Hannah Baker, a high school student who committed suicide and left a note for 12 people who influenced her death, giving them each 13 reasons why she took her life.
And now Selena has finally shared a sneak peek at the upcoming show. The actress-turned-producer uploaded a teaser of the series via her Instagram page this morning.
The series will air on Netflix on 31 March.
