If you watched the Trooping the Colour ceremony this summer, you’ll already be familiar with the work of Savannah Philips, the Queen's great-granddaughter - or, as we fondly remember her, royal mischief-maker extraordinaire and the pint-sized icon who dared to put her hand over Prince George’s mouth to stop him singing the national anthem. Since then, she's also been photographed - shock horror - pushing the future king down a hill at a polo match. Savannah Philips is not here for royal protocol, she's just here to have a great time and create great memes - and her appearance as a flower girl at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's royal wedding only served to underline that.

While her fellow flower girls and page boys waited politely for the ceremony to get underway, Savannah could be seen miming along to a trumpet fanfare and, at one point, causing Prince George to laugh so much that he had to cover his mouth with his hand.

Then, once the proceedings were over and the bridal party party moved onto the chapel steps for a photo opp, Savannah was on top form once again, pointing knowingly to the camera instead of waving like her fellow flower girls (including seasoned pro Princess Charlotte, who managed to look down the lens and do her trademark royal wave - nailed it).

Want further proof that Savannah is almost definitely the most meme-able royal (we might make an honourable exception for Sarah Ferguson and her royal wedding facial expressions)? We've compiled the evidence in the gallery below...

Who is Savannah Philips?

Savannah is the daughter of Peter and Autumn Philips. Peter is Princess Anne’s eldest child; his father is Captain Mark Philips, Anne's first husband. Peter and Autumn got married in 2008 at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle (just like Harry and Meghan and Eugenie and Jack...)

How is she related to The Queen?

Savannah is the Queen’s great grand-daughter, and is the 15th in line to the throne.

Why doesn't Savannah Philips have a title?

Despite being part of the royal family she doesn't have a royal title, and neither do her parents. When her father Peter was born, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Philips declined the Queen's offer to give him a title; 'Princess Anne and her husband are understood to have told the queen that they felt a title would be a hindrance in the child's future career,' The Washington Post reported in 1977, in an article titled; 'Queen's 1st Grandchild Is Commoner'. Charming.

How old is Savannah Philips?

She is seven years-old, her birthday is December 29, 2010. Her sister Isla is six.
