Sam Thompson has revealed why he thinks his relationship with Made In Chelsea co-star Tiffany Watson didn't work out. ‘I wasn't malicious, but I wasn't mature enough,’ Sam confessed in an interview with OK! Magazine, speaking about their on-off relationship which ended in 2017. ‘If I met her later in life, things would have probably worked out differently. I didn't pay enough attention to Tiff.’ (Hmmm. Too little, too late?)
Sam and Tiff got together shortly after she joined the show in 2014, but cheating allegations about Sam first broke the couple apart. They later reunited, but that was before they were torn apart again - after Tiff admitted to sleeping with somebody else on holiday. That wasn’t the end though. The lovebirds got back together once more (keep up!) at the end of series 10. However, they later broke up when Sam slept with co-star Mimi Bouchard while the pair were "on a break". The reality star told The Sun’s TV Mag in 2018 he had moved on from Tiff, saying, ‘We don’t speak. Tiff is a part of my life, but she’s a part of my past. We’ve gone down different paths…’
In the interview with OK!, he also took the chance to throw some shade on his co-stars, labelling some of them as ‘not very nice.’ ‘The crowd round here aren’t very nice – everyone is trying to be the next social thing,’ he said. ‘I’ve never really been like that! I just like chilling with the guys instead of going where there’s going to be hot girls. That’s not very fulfilling. I’m also into a different kind of woman now.’ How noble.
The candid chat comes after Sam said he hadn’t ‘shut the door’ on returning to Made In Chelsea. He recently took a break from the show after breaking up with Sophie 'Habbs' Habboo, but told Digital Spy, ‘I don't shut the door on anything. If I want to do it, I'll do it. I don't believe in this career path bollocks. Oops, sorry! I think, “Just do what you think is fun”. I think that's just the main thing you do, really. So I don't shut the door on anything.’
