There are many places you’d expect to find Rihanna- relaxing in the Bahamas, on the FROW - but attending the cricket in Durham probably isn’t one of them. The popstar shocked fans as she turned up to cheer on the West Indies during their World Cup clash with Sri Lanka yesterday - and not one to disappoint, she even put her own spin on traditional cricket whites in a Fenty corseted denim dress worn as an overcoat, white jeans, and a matching cropped tank (complete with an official West Indies team cap, of course.)
The West Indian team might have lost the match (Sri Lanka beat them by 23 runs) but, to be honest, who cares when you look this stylish?
She also shared a sweet video where she reunited with one of her old teachers, which you can watch below.
It comes after the news in May that RiRi had secretly relocated to London. Revealing all in an interview with the New York Times, the singer explained that she moved to the capital earlier this year to be closer to her Fenty team who are based in Paris and Italy. (Her boyfriend, Hassan Jameel - who she started dating in early 2017 - also lives here too.)
And while we think we’d recognize Rihanna anywhere, unbelievably, the superstar said that she is able to walk around ‘incognito’ without being recognised, saying that one of her favourite things is ‘walking around the block.’
Though she's already made it clear that she's a big fan of Sainsbury’s (from that bag in her Instagram story), the star also said that she is a big fan of a ‘cute little Jamaican market’ near where she lives. She said, ‘The world can really make you believe that the wrong things are priority, and it makes you really miss the core of life, what it means to be alive. It could literally be walking outside in the sun. That makes me happy. Like going to the grocery store - you know, there’s a cute little Jamaican market near where I live right now.’
