The Queen looked on flying form last night at the special gala in Windsor to celebrate her 90th birthday. Featuring performances from a number of stars – including Dame Shirley Bassey, Dame Helen Mirren and Kylie Minogue – the night saw appearances from Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Lady Louise Mountbatten, and also included the participation of around 900 horses.

Yes, that's right...nearly one thousand.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Wills and Prince Harry sat up-front to watch the show, as did King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, who took the coveted spot next to The Queen.
