Last weekend the palace released two official photographs of Princess Charlotte, where she looks cute as a button in a floral dress and pink cardigan. The Cambridges have a habit of making stock shift... FAST... as whatever Kate and George wear tends to sell out quickly. We're talking about a family who managed to dramatically increase the sale of Crocs by 1500%.
At first it was reported that Charlotte's dress was Liberty, but now it has been revealed that it was a £21 dress from a small Spanish boutique brand called M&H. But the owner won't be able to benefit from the worldwide coverage, as she has run out of the fabric which is now no longer being made by her supplier.
Margarita Pato Cid said to the Telegraph: “I only have 10 metres of that cloth left. I have had inquiries from as far afield as America, but the material will do for 22 dresses at most, and I can’t get any more because the factory that makes it in Valencia has moved on to material for summer 2016 and next winter. We are completely overwhelmed by the demand and I don’t know how we are going to meet it.”
The dress is thought to have been bought by Princess Charlotte's nanny Maria Borrallo, who lives in Palencia near to a M&H store.
