For her wedding to James Matthews this weekend, Pippa Middleton stunned in a custom-made Giles Deacon gown accesorised with ivory satin Manolo Blahnik pumps, a tulle Stephen Jones veil, and diamond earrings by Robinson Pelham.
If the earrings look familiar, you are not mistaken. It has been noted that the diamond drop earrings had been previously worn by Middleton at the wedding of her sister back in 2011. She was clearly keen to abide by the classic 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue' rule.
The earrings were part of a set of jewellery commissioned by the Middleton family for the Royal wedding, The Telegraph reported. From Chelsea based jeweller Robinson Pelham, Kate Middleton's earrings featured items from the Middleton's family crest (an acorn and an oak leaf) whereas Pippa's were a more simple flower and pear drop design. The family are big fans of Robinson Pelham and the company also made items for both Carole and James Middleton for the big day.
It has also been reported that the jewellery brand were the ones who created Pippa's art deco-style diamond ring with which James Matthews proposed.
