If you think Daphne in Bridgerton has a familiar face - then you'd be entirely correct. Acting and being on TV is quite literally in Phoebe's DNA. Not only is Phoebe becoming the actress to watch right now, but she also has an incredibly famous mum, none other than Sally Dynevor - who is probably known better as Sally Webster in Coronation Street, a role she's had since 1986.
Bridgerton, which dropped on Christmas Day, follows Phoebe as Daphne Bridgerton the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. But it all starts to get a bit complicated when committed bachelor Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) enters. The series - produced by Shondaland's Shonda Rhimes - is also narrated by Julie Andrews, who acts as gossip writer Lady Whistledown.
You also might recognise Phoebe from her time on Waterloo Road, which was her first TV role. She then later appeared in Prisoners' Wives and Dickensian. But it was in 2017 that Dynevor made her American TV debut with a recurring role in the comedy-drama series Younger.
Amazingly, this is the second time this year the nation has been shocked that a talented young newcomer has a parent from Corrie. Noah Jupe gave an incredible performance as Harry, son of Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, in tense drama The Undoing. People were surprised to discover that his excellent American accent hid his British origins. His mum, Katy Cavanagh, played Julie Carp in the ITV soap between 2008 and 2015.
