For one last time Barack and Michelle Obama have hosted a big party at the White House, with the likes of Beyonce and Jay Z, Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, George and Amal Clooney, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Stevie Wonder in attendance. Chance the Rapper took to Twitter to announce he would attend the White House party.

Nick Jonas shared an Instagram as soon as he touched down in Washington with his Kingdom co-star Jonathan Tucker.

Jordin Sparks took her Dad to the festivities.

Saturday Night Live star Jay Pharoah posted an Instagram of himself with Kelly Rowland, rapper Wale, Usher and NBA star Carmelo Anthony's wife La La Anthony.

Solange Knowles performed at the party and shared her support on Instagram.
