As a woman - unless you have quadruplets - it'd be pretty much impossible to have four kids in a year. But for men, it's a different story. American TV host Nick Cannon has fathered four children within 12 months - and Nick's just revealed that his therapist offered him some interesting advice.

'I’m not sitting out here planning it. My therapist says I should be celibate,' he said, talking to Entertainment Tonight{ =nofollow}. 'Okay, give me a break bus. I’m [gonna] take a break from having kids.' (We wonder how long the therapist recommended a break for...)

Nick has seven kids, and is the father toMariah Carey'{ =nofollow}s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, 10. He then went on to have Golden, four, with American model Brittany Bell. But how did he have four kids in a year? Well, in December last year, Brittany gave birth to Nick's fourth child, Powerful Queen. Then, in June, DJ Abby De La Rose gave birth to his twin sons, Zion and Zillion. And days later model Alyssa Scott gave birth to their son Zen. Which makes seven (that's one more child than Boris Johnson, who recently admitted he had six children in a US TV interview.)

Though there has been some mild outrage about how many children Nick has had by different women, especially within the past year, it's been nothing on the scale of the amount of hate women get if they have babies by different fathers. Think about how much vitriol has been directed at Ulrika Jonsson for having four kids by different men, with people even coming up with the hurtful '4x4' nickname. And the double standard is still happening in 2021 - the subject is something Ulrika recently spoke about when Stacey Solomon was trolled for having three kids by three different men.

Anyway, Nick is more than happy with the amount of kids he has, telling the outlet that the Lord had answered his prayers. 'I come from a big family, I have several siblings, [and] being raised in an unorthodox family by my grandparents at times, I’ve experienced such a wide range of upbringing that I have such a love and passion for kids and family,' he said. 'I want a big family too. The Lord has blessed me with what I asked. Ask and you shall receive.’
