Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi have welcomed their first child together via adoption. Sharing the news on Instagram, Millie wrote: 'This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.'
The collaborative post featured a picture of a tree and the message, 'And then there were 3,' and the comment section has been disabled. The news comes a year after Millie and Jake's wedding, which took place in secret last May. The following October the pair celebrated their nuptials with a more lavish ceremony at Villa Cetinale in Italy.
'Forever and always, your wife,' the Stranger Things actress captioned her carousel featuring pictures from the wedding ceremony and her two bridal gowns. Jake echoed her sentiment with his own post captioned, 'Forever and always, your husband.'
The pair met via Instagram in 2021 and were reportedly friends for before things turned romantic. The following year their romance was confirmed, but they do as much as they can to keep their relationship private, something they will no doubt continue to do following the birth of their daughter.
While they have not invited commentary on the news of their first child, they are likely to be supported by friends and family at home, including Jake's famous father Jon Bon Jovi. Fans have also been quick to share their congratulations on social media, with one X user joking, 'Millie Bobby Brown is married and adopted a child at 21... I need to get my life together.' Another simply wrote: 'Millie Bobby Brown having a baby is crazy to me. So happy for her.'
