We’ve barely had a moment to mourn the end of the marriage that made us all believe in love again, that is, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, and already we’re invested in an entire new love square (?) involving the pair. Because, Miley Cyrus has been spotted kissing Kaitlynn Carter, whom you may know from The Hills: New Beginnings, and is now in a huge Instagram feud with Kaitlynn’s ex-husband, Brody Jenner – who has implied he may start dating Liam Hemsworth. Honestly, the noughties nostalgia is real with this celebrity drama.
Essentially, just hours after it was announced that Liam and Miley have ended their 11-month marriage, Miley was spotted on a yacht in Lake Como with Kaitlynn – where the two were cuddling, kissing and generally all over each other. Equally, Kaitlynn’s separation from ex-husband Brody is incredibly recent, with the two announcing their annulment (they were never legally married) just last week.
Now, with the two ladies well and truly living their best lives on holiday with each other, Brody has taken to social media to joke (or possibly dig) at the new couple. First, he commented ‘Hot girl summer’ under a picture of Miley and Kaitlynn, but this was before the pictures of them kissing were released, so we can’t be sure he knew the women were more than friends. Then, after he well and truly was aware of their relationship, Brody posted a picture on his own Instagram with the caption ‘don’t let yesterday take up too much of today’.
Always there to spice up the drama, his The Hills co-star Brandon Thomas Lee commented ‘let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out’, to which Brody replied ‘watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon’.
But wait, it gets better. Remember that scene in The Hills where Brody and Kaitlynn were arguing about the fact he had slept in his truck? You know, the one where he essentially calls her crazy and says he would rather sleep in his car than deal with confrontation? Well, Miley has clearly seen it, because she commented on the picture saying ‘go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer’.
Honestly, we cannot handle all the tea. It is simply TOO HOT. Of course, Spender Pratt couldn’t help but get involved because we truly have travelled back in time, and has commented on a picture of Brody on the E! News Instagram saying ‘”I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative” – Liam’. In another random twist of events, Spencer has also since suggested Olivia Jade Giannulli should join the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings after she posted a big old f*ck you to the tabloids this weekend.
Oh, the joys of celebrities having social media. Can you imagine if Instagram existed when The Hills originally aired? It would honestly be too much.

According to an Instagram story posted by Stephanie Pratt which showed the cast and what appeared to be a camera crew in the background (and the fact Steph and Audrina were seen walking around LA with a crew) it sees like filming for The Hills: New Beginnings began in late August 2018.

Lauren Conrad will not be making a return for the re-boot (sob), and there's no doubt both LC and her arch rival Kristen Cavallari (who also won't return will be missed). According to reports, Lauren is skipping the reboot due to 'other priorities' which we're guessing may have something to do with her very recent pregnancy announcement.

Confirmed for the season one cast were Made-In-Chelsea's crossover girl Stephanie Pratt, who did the voiceover for the teaser, Audrina Partridge, Justin Bobby (though according to reports a Justin/Audrina reunion definitely isn't on the cards), Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Brody Jenner and Whitney Port.

Now that the cast are all grown up and have children of their own we can expect to see some seriously cute cameo's from their offspring. Entreé Delilah Wahler, Kirra Bohan and Gunnar Pratt. Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's son, 22-year-old Brandon Thomas will also join the cast.
