As any serious Meghan Markle fan will know, when the actress is not busy on the set of Suits she pens a lifestyle blog, The Tig. ‘A hub for the discerning palate’, Meghan shares with her followers her tips about food, travel, fashion and beauty.
Since her relationship with Prince Harry began last year the posts on her site have become more infrequent, and now she has decided to to call quits on her ‘passion project’.
Yesterday, Meghan took to the website’s homepage and her own Instagram account to share the news with fans.
In a post titled ‘Farewell, Darling’ she wrote:
‘To all my Tig friends
After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it's time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You've made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being "the change you wish to see in the world."
Above all, don't ever forget your worth - as I've told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough.
Thank you for everything.
Xx’
She also shared a picture via Instagram thanking fans for all their support.
Naturally this news has sent the rumour mill into overdrive, and a number of people who commented on her Instagram post suggested a royal wedding could be on the cards.
At the end of March press reports suggested that Meghan would be soon moving to London to live with Harry.
