Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in Australia on their first royal tour together, after announcing they are expecting a baby in spring.
The pair have had a packed schedule so far and day four of the trip was no different. Starting the day in the well-known tourist spot Bondi Beach, they met with Grant Trebilco and Sam Schumacher – founders of local surfing group OneWave, which helps to raise awareness about mental health issues.
While they didn’t hit the waves, Harry did help wax a surfboard, and they both joined an ‘anti bad vibe circle’ where people of all ages are encouraged to share their experiences, and talk openly about their mental health.
Meghan started the visit in a pair of £80 Castner espadrilles with a wedge heel (lucky the Queen wasn’t around, she reportedly dislikes wedges!) but she took them off and walked the sand barefoot with Harry. She wore a £1,080 striped dress by Australian designer Martin Grant, which is no longer available to buy, and a pink lei which fit in with the colourful attire worn by the locals they met.
The 'anti bad vibe circle' obviously had an effect on Meghan, who chose to share a little something of her own experience, telling the group she’d been up at 4am that morning doing yoga because she couldn’t sleep, and said that pregnancy is ‘like having jet lag without actually travelling.’
