It seems that part and parcel of being a celebrity is having to deal with nasty trolls regularly - and that's exactly what Maura Higgins had to deal with this week.
The former Love Island star shared some sizzling pictures of herself in a bikini on her Instagram stories and, while she looked utterly beautiful, she was met with a nasty response from one follower.
Maura didn't hesitate to share it, publicly posting the message, which read, 'Put some weight on. Get some curves. You look like a cardboard front and back with a trout pout!!!'
It'd be understandable for Maura to be upset by the DM, but instead it was like water off a duck's back for the reality TV star, who got her own back in the best way possible.
'Here we go,' she wrote on a screenshot of the message. 'Next video is for you ma darling'.
Curtis Pritchard's ex-girlfriend then shared a sassy video of her in another bikini, with a make-up artist touching up her legs, and of course she looked unreal.
Unfortunately this is just one of many instances of online trolling towards the Love Island stars.
Molly Mae-Hague last month received savage comments about pictures of her on holiday with boyfriend Tommy Fury, and Laura Anderson shared a snap defending herself from trolls last month.
Will a woman in the public eye ever be able to post a selfie free from the fear of being shamed in some way? We can but hope.
