However, there has now been a further setback, as Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Michael Katz denied her proposal, ruling that it wasn’t an essential matter.
‘The original filing was rejected by the New York County Clerk because they did not follow the essential matter procedure,’ New York courts spokesman Lucian Chalfentold E!. ‘They refiled under the essential matter procedure and the matter was referred to the ex-party State Supreme Court Judge. He just decided that it is not an essential matter so they can’t file anything at this point.’
The couple married in Manhattan, New York in 2015 and first started dating in 2012. They have no children together, but Olivier does have two teenage children from his previous marriage to Charlotte Bernard. Olivier works as a financier and his half-brother is Nicolas Sarkozy, the former President of France.
