On the 21st of January, removal vans pulled up at the White House. After eight years at the prestigious residence, the Obama clan were leaving to make room for the Trumps.
But how did the former First Family spend their last evening together?
During a question-and-answer session at the American Institute of Architecture conference, Michelle revealed that her daughters, Malia and Sasha, threw a farewell get-together with friends.
According to Today, Michelle Obama said: "They had a sleepover, because of course on Inauguration Day, because my girls are so normal, they're like, 'Well, eight girls are gonna be sleeping here because it's our last time, and we want pizza and we want nuggets.' And it's like, really?" Michelle Obama said.
We personally couldn't think of a better way to spend the evening...
And the former First Lady went on to admit how life has changed since parting the presidential home.
"Friends are surprised I answer the door now," she laughed, after revealing the family has ‘never had a doorbell’.
And as much as we miss the Obamas, Michelle went on to confirm that she will never run for president.
"I wouldn’t ask my children to do this again," she admitted.
