Whilst these two Love Islanders didn't find their happy ending appearing on the ITV dating show, they found each other after filming - resulting in a cross season romance for the history books.
From picnic dates to snowy engagements, here's a look back over their relationship...
2019: Lucie's Love Island journey
25-year-old Lucie first rose to fame back on season five of Love Island in 2019 (where she tried desperately to make the word 'bev' a thing.)
She entered the villa on day one as an OG Islander, but despite striking up a romance with Joe Garrett and making her feelings to Tommy Fury (who recently welcomed his first child with partner Molly-Mae Hague), she ultimately was dumped on day 36 and left the island without love.
2020: Luke's Love Island journey
On 12 Jan, 2020, along came Luke.
The season six contestant appeared on the first ever season of Winter Love Island (which is currently making a return to our TV screens right now.)
After entering on day 12, the Justin Bieber lookalike coupled up with Demi Jones - with the two finishing in third place.
And from the minute Luke walked into the villa, Lucie had her eyes set on the star. Opening up about her now-fiancee, she shared 'I always fancied him.'
June 2020: First dates
The new Love Island couple enjoyed their first date on 17 June, after Lucie slid her way into the star's DMs over lockdown.
But the start of their romance wasn't without its fair share of drama. 27-year-old Luke had only just split from his Love Island flame Demi weeks prior - with Demi hinting in a YouTube video that there was an overlap.
In the video, she said 'I put two and two together. Obviously they must have started talking during lockdown.'
Hitting back at the cheating claims, Luke shared 'Me and Demi split up on 29 May. Lucie checked with me a couple of days or a week later to see if I was single. We went on a date 17 June, and then we started going out in July.'
July 2020: Instagram official
The surfer slid into Luke's DMs, sealing the deal by inviting him on a sweet picnic date - marking the beginning of their whirlwind romance.
The couple made their relationship Instagram official less than a month after their first date, sharing with fans snaps of them looking loved up in Saltdean as they enjoyed a South-Coast getaway.
May 2021: Tattoo tributes
Of course, no relationship is ever complete without tattoos.
Luke unveiled a tattoo tribute to Lucie - who he's been dating for a nearly a year - on his arm. The tattoo features two sharks swimming, with Lucie explaining 'Luke's got two sharks representing us because we swam with them in the Maldives. He's the cutest.'
June 2021: Cottage renovations
Around the same time, the pair officially moved in together - and adopted a dog, of course.
The pair have since gone on to buy a cottage - which fans can follow them renovate over on their TikTok.
December 2021: Snowy proposals
During a romantic holiday to Finland, Luke got down on one knee and popped the big question.
Sharing the happy news on their Instagram, they wrote 'Mrs Mabbott to be... 💍♥️ The northern lights made an appearance for the perfect moment. A night we will never forget.'
2023: Wedding bells?
Whilst the pair haven't given away too many deets on their upcoming nuptials, Lucie has revealed that the pair are planning on eloping after their whirlwind engagement.
Talking to the Mail Online, she shared 'We said we may just jet off somewhere and get married, so we're not decided on who would be at our wedding just yet - it may only be just us two. We would prefer to have a much smaller wedding for sure.'
But the pair are in no rush to walk down the aisle, with Lucie also revealing that they're planning a longer engagement.
She explained, 'We're going to have a two to three year engagement and start properly planning our wedding then.'
