Remember Hugo? You know, the P.E teacher who made that dramatic recoupling speech and left Toby raging…

Love Island viewers noticed that he has been mysteriously absent in the last few episodes - so where has he been hiding?

Last week Hugo returned from Casa Amorwith Amy Day. He was welcomed back to enthusiastic cheers from the girls in the main villa. Up until this moment Hugo had struggled to make a romantic connection after being in friendship couples with Sharon Gaffka and Chloe Burrows.

We would prefer to forget the awkward moment when Chloe friend-zoned him after he expressed his romantic feelings for her…

But finally, Casa Amor was a turning point for Hugo and he gushed about Amy being the missing piece in his love island journey. Watching Hugo find a connection was a heart-warming moment and lifted the spirits up in the villa.

So Hugo’s Love Island journey starts now - great!… if only we could see it.

Last night viewers were basically playing Where’s Wally trying to get a glimpse of the teacher and his new partner Amy.

The last sighting of them was on Sunday night's episode supposedly 'doing bits' in bed...

There was also a clear divide across twitter about wether the lack of Hugo was a good or bad thing …

Love Island fans were also torn about if Hugo and Amy are a perfect match or whether Amy’s feeling are genuine. Perhaps if we saw more of them together (or at all) we could gain a better understanding of them as a couple.

It appears the lack of drama is basically to blame for the lack of Hugo screen time. But who know's if Toby really does turn his head for the millionth time and go-back to ex partner Chloe Burrows, there might just be another dramatic Hugo speech on the cards...
