Apparently, the Love Island men have been warned by bosses to stop masturbating in the shower. A former islander has told The Sun that the producers have asked the boys to take themselves to the toilet instead, as that’s the only place in the villa where there are no cameras.
‘The producers realise that all the boys - and the girls - have needs,’ the ex islander told the publication. ‘But some of the boys - who have been in the villa for several weeks - seemed to forget they were living in a shared environment and have been getting a little carried away when it comes to using some of the villa's communal areas.’
And then, in some truly grim quotes, the contestant added, ‘One of the islanders got more than they bargained for when they entered the bathroom without their shoes on. They complained to producers who quickly took action.’
Even though it is against one of the villa’s strict rules, ex-contestant Elma previously said that islanders were prone to masturbating. 'No masturbation? I'm pretty sure they've all been ramping them out to be honest,' she said. 'I'm not going to lie. They are in there a long time. I'm pretty sure, you can't have all of the boys not doing it, in one way or another. You couldn't do that. I couldn't imagine any boys not doing that. They've done it all privately.’
