Paige Turley Jokes Ex Lewis Capaldi Won’t Get A Share Of Her Love Island Prize

On Sunday night, after six weeks, Paige Turley and her boyfriend Finley Tapp proved themselves the nation's favourite couple, as they were crowned the winners of Love Island. But, before the show’s winter instalment even began, Paige made the headlines, due to having a very high-profile ex: Lewis Capaldi{ =nofollow}.

After Paige mentioned her previous relationship on the show, Lewis previously joked that he should get a cut if she won the show. But now, Paige has said the singer won’t be getting any of her prize, which she split withFinn{ =nofollow}.

'That's just Lewis, it comes as no surprise he said that. But I can't give him any money because once I pay off my debts there'll be nothing left,' she said in an interview with the Sun.But, to be honest, with last year’s best selling song, and album - and two sold out gigs at the O2 in March - we doubt Lewis is that disappointed.

And when the star was at the Brit awards, he marked his win for Best Song Of The Year with a reference to Paige{ =nofollow}, clarifying that Someone You Loved is not about the reality star. 'Contrary to popular belief,' he said, 'a lot of people think this song is about my ex girlfriend, who you can now see every night on Love Island. It's actually about my grandmother, who sadly passed away a few years ago.'
